This workshop format is a live on-line event delivered virtually at the dates and times specified above. It has the benefits of a classroom setting with live interaction with the instructor in order to ask questions and participate in discussions. A further advantage is that it avoids the overhead of international travel and all that entails.

The aim of this 6 session workshop is to give pharmacometricians a good understanding of the statistical concepts and methods that form the basis of their modelling and simulation work. The emphasis is on clear and concise descriptions of the statistical concepts and methodology with a minimum of mathematical and software details. For a detailed list of topics covered please click on "Topics" on left hand side menu.

This lecture style workshop aims to convey pharmacometric statistical concepts in a simple, intuitive and easily understood way. The concepts and ideas are developed in a ‘step by step’ approach which makes it easier to understand because students focus on one step at a time. The emphasis is on concepts and not on the mathematical details and derivations.

The workshop is designed for pharmacometricians, pharmacologists, pharmacists and others in the pharmaceutical industry with an interest in the statistical concepts involved in modelling and simulation. Attendees need only have studied statistics at foundation level prior to taking this course.
